Ann Lee Pond Nature and Historic Preserve

Ann Lee Pond Nature and Historic Preserve is located in the Town of Colonie, near the Albany International Airport.  Named after Mother Ann Lee, the founder and leader of the Shakers, the nature and historic preserve was established by Albany County.  The Mohawk-Hudson Bird Club lists this preserve as a good bird watching site in Albany County.

The preserve is generally located south of Heritage Lane adjoining Ann Lee Pond and eastward to Albany Shaker Road.  Parking is available in two nearly adjoining lots along Heritage Lane.
