Great site. I drive past Garnsey Park to/from work (Mechanicville native) and have always wondered what was actually back there, as well as a couple other parks. There’s an unfortunate lack of information about the trails in the area in general and your site’s a big help!
Thanks, Mike. I appreciate your comments very much. Glad to hear my site was informative. I encourage you to explore a couple of other parks/nature preserves just off Route 146, also west of Clifton Park – namely Veterans Memorial Park (especially the forest trail) and Woodcock Preserve. Happy trails!
I also wanted to thank you for posting pictures of this park. I’m new to the area and I like seeing what the nature walk will look like before heading out with my young son. Thank you!
