The trail proceeds southward principally along sidewalks through and then out of the village and terminates at its intersection with an active railroad corridor, approximately 0.75 mile south of where this trail crosses Halfway House Road.
The information provided on this page focusses only on the southbound portion of this trail that begins at the trail access located just south of the Village of Stillwater off Railroad Avenue, near its intersection with Towpath Road. A parking lot is available at this location.
